Just an FYI for anyone wanting to install the Stoptech 950.44520 rear stainless steel brake line kit and doesn’t already know what is needed.

The Tacoma mounting bracket cutouts are different sizes and the OEM hoses have a left and right part number. The left hose bracket mount hole is .745” wide and the right is .6625” and the hoses will not interchange.

The Stoptech kit includes two identical size hoses with both being for the .745” mount.

That was a first time for me to experience left and right specific oem lines. I had to do some filing on the bracket to make the stop tech line fit.

So does the left side line fit without filing? I did the right side line last time I rotated tires and by the time I got done with it I decided the left side line could wait until the next rotation.

Thanks, that just eliminated a bunch of the dread I was feeling about the next rotation in 1000 miles.
