No clue what was different with the dust shields on the TRD BBK. A quick look up of factory parts might shiw whether or not there is more than one part number for dust shields.
Any DOT 3 non-synthetic brake fluid will be compatible. If you want to run synthetic you will have to flush the entire system.

Is there any specific bleed procedure for this truck? Sometimes ABS units have special bleed process that requires a trip to the dealer versus cycling fluid through the system and making sure the master cylinder does not run dry... please lmk about to pull the trigger on the 16" wheel kit.

Installed the disk conversion about a month ago. Great results, our front brakes are doing all the work. With 35s my truck stops better than it did with the 265s. I used to cringe when I had to stop really hard. No where near all the nose dive I was having before. I'm very confused when I hear people saying their drum brakes are good enough.

Edit: Please ignore oem shocks :anonymous:

Looks good. I want the rear disc conversion for my truck, but so much other stuff to buy right now with the LT build. What size are those spacers? They look huge.

I know, they do, they're 2". I had 1.25 Spidertrax, but wanted to be a closer match to the Dirt King 3.5 up front.

Thanks. It's a worth while endeavor.
Considering a scrapped Tundra axle now with the new DMZ rear and LT up front.

Looking to slow that truck of yours down?

Had upgraded brakes a loooong time now. Only upgrades would be a StopTech rear set of calipers.
