I bought and installed the kit last month and I ended up mocking up the rotor, using a sharpee to outline the trim area and then cut a little bit more than I needed to just to make sure I had enough clearance. I also bent the dust shield a bit to open up more clearance in some areas. I would've installed the shim but didn't want to deal with taking out the hub. Haven't had issues with it. Just take your time and make sure you're not rubbing before putting everything back on.

Trimmed it off. But I have been getting brake noise lately, not sure if something got between the pads and rotor causing it, or if the noise is coming from my rear.

Anyone notice that the discount code is about 15% off?
Still a good deal though, making me about to pull the trigger.

I actually called stoptech themselves and I believe they offered that discount if not a little more for my kit which was a better deal than advertised online at the time. They really are great guys to deal with and very knowledgeable about their stuff. I love my brakes and they really work well if you have dirty5s.

Which one did you get? I'm looking at the 340mm 6 piston one.

Yep that is what I got. I would strongly recommend calling them since you are LT as they made a batch of custom brake lines to be long enough for me since I run a 3.5 kit up front. SOS performance made a custom brake line order of 50 just because of this and should know exactly what you are talking about if you bring this up before ordering.

Sos shows a 6" longer line, I figured that was the one. I'll have to call em.

When they made the order for the lines, it is to replace the whole piece since our LT kits use the stock caliper fitting...with the extended lines they wont be compatible with the provided LT ones so thats why they provide a custom long one to replace the bottom two sections of the brake line. Or atleast mine did...maybe they did a better rendition since then.
