I bought the Stoptech Axle Pack front brake kit which included slotted rotors, sport pads, and S/S brake lines for $180 from Amazon.

However the Stoptech S/S brake lines (p/n 950.44007) are 1.5" shorter than the stock rubber lines. I went ahead and installed the S/S lines are they are pulled taught with the suspension at full droop and the steering at full lock. The stock rubber lines still have slack in the same scenario.

I've installed the brake lines only and so fair the pedal does feel better. But I would still like to change them out for longer S/S brake lines that are longer for safety reasons. Does anyone have recommendations? I know Wheelers have S/S brake lines but people have said you need to do some grinding to fit.

Not feeling comfortable on how short the Stoptech brake lines are, I ordered Crown stock +1” length S/S front brake lines and also 24” on the rear.

Stoptechs are probably ok with stock travel coil overs but I have extended travel.

I looked into Wheeler lines but some members have rupturing problems.

Pretty sure there’s a member on here who makes lines, sold hundreds. Can’t recall the name though.
