Just picked up a 2010 DCLB 2 weeks ago and i'm wondering what tools are you all able to fit in your rear cab storage bins? I'm not looking to add a tool box in the bed so i'm curious to see what you all are carrying around in your bins? Looks like there is room enough for an SBR to fit under the seat as well.

I was thinking some Rope if needed and a good ratchet and wrench set with gloves and extra flashlights.

Let's see what you are doing for ideas

I have an Access Cab and the little under seat cubby holds a shotgun perfectly. Until I have figured out a good way to lock it in there, I just throw a cable lock through the action, to the frame so it can't walk off.

Obviously that isn't 'quick access' but that's what the gun on my hip is for. I can't imagine what I would realistically need a shotgun for but I don't know what else I'd put back there

cable lock works. If it brings you extra peace of mind, then thats what you need it for. How do you carry tools in the storage areas or do you carry any? I wonder if one of the single slim plastic ammo cans would fit in the cubby behind the seat to store some regular hand tools.

Currently store a broken down shotgun with a cable lock. As said not fast.

Planning to remove cubbies and install horizontal locking rack.

Behind the drivers side I have a tarp and a long dog leash.

On the passenger side I have a fire extinguisher, a hatchet, 3 lb sledge, a set of spare tire rods, and some other random stuff.

Yeah, not the best location as it takes a little to get to it but it’s the right size and works for now
