Has anyone found a robust plastic storage container that will fit the Big Buddy heater made by Mr. Heater? Mr. Heater makes a soft sided carry case but I'm looking for something more durable. Have been keeping it in the original box for about ten years and it shows.

Measurements would have to be 21" x 19" x 15" based on the original box, which fits the Big Buddy snuggly. Grateful for any leads.

In the hope of helping someone else out there, the Hyper Tough 40 gallon plastic storage tote bin perfectly fits the Weber Q1200. Hyper Tough - 40 Gallon Snap Lid Plastic Storage Tote Bin, Black Base/Red Lid - Walmart.com I got lucky and figured someone else might be looking for a similar solution to the Weber Q storage issue.

Shoot you’re right, I just put a tape on the box and it’s actually 18x18.25x12!

Ok so after trips to Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Harbor Freight and the wildly overpriced Container Store, the best option that I’ve found is a 20 gallon HDX storage tote at Home Depot. Comes in three colors, the most masculine of which is Ink (there’s a periwinkle and a green too). Turned some heads carrying the Big Buddy into the stores but worth it to get the right fit.

Note that the buddy has to be tilted back at an angle for the lid to close but it will close fully. This was the closest fit by far—not many of the other containers come close in terms of depth. It also has just enough space to also accommodate the long propane hose if you happen to have that accessory.
