Interested to see who keeps their tournneau covers on for the winter and those who don't, what is your method of storing in your bed?
Extra cab + 2 kids = no room

    Thanks

I leave my tonneau on for the winter, and brush the snow off so it doesn't wear on the vinyl or add allot of weight. I keep a couple sandbags in the bed as well

Hard tonneau covers and articulated (hinged) covers generally do fine in the winter months. As said, you need to brush them off so that excess weight does no accumulate, but most modern designs are well suited to support the weight. If you have the old-fashioned 'snaps around the bed' design you need to be careful as the vinyl can become brittle in extreme cold, but nobody in their right mind would use a cover like that any more.

OP I wouldn't send pics of your kids in an access cab, just saying.

I have a double cab and both kids + stuff fit really well back there. It's doable in an access cab but I bet it's tight. That being said, in the winter tonneau cover stays on

    Wasn't meaning creepy

Just didn't see 2 car seats in access cab as two car seats in double cab seems tight enough.

    Geez people these days

yeah the sides are velcro, never had any issues with it. I know after years of use the velcro needs replaced. Not sure how big of a deal that is yet. Theirs a strip of foam between the rail and the bed to keep water out and i would say it'd take about 15 min to take the cover off. Just a couple bolts holding it on

My tonneau cover keeps rain out well. Can easily store stuff during the winter. I got the Truxedo Truxport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover pretty cheap too.

Get a hard shell and bedryder system. Then you'll have more room in the cab... ;)
