Was also thinking of bed bars. I saw them somewhere, can't remember site. It's one on here. They slide d lock down where ya need them. Can always throw a tarp over rails if need be.. a different tool box like two horizontals, would give me back the length of bed again. Only 6" or so under it right now.

lol of course, everything gets put in the 2nd gen section, even the 2nd gen buy/sell marketplace.

See the big scratch to the left side of bumper in the center? That's from a guy I know in 1st gen 4wd who bumped me at light. He thought it was funny as Hell until I put it in reverse and started pushing him backwards! He found out just how crazy I can get.

I like my shell. I like having the ability to lock up my gear. I also go up to the mountains a lot and it keeps rain / snow off my stuff.

That being said, I wish I would have spent the money on suspension first, and got the shell later. Oh well.

I miss my old shell on my last toy. I could keep all kinds of crap in back , lock it up to go to store without unloading. Not shopping, just down to ice house.

My wife saw a Storm Trooped Tundra the other day. She liked it and finally caved into my funds request to do the same to mine. Going to start with flat blacking the center of the front valance. Any tips?
