    Hello.
After getting my alternator replaced along with two idler pulleys and the tensioner pulley, (stp brand alternator) and now I'm getting a slight high pitched feedback coming through my speakers while accelerating. It may be making the sound all the time, but it's most noticeable when over 2500 rpms.
It doesn't matter if the speakers are on or off.

I asked one of the techs where I got my truck worked on and he said there's a resistor you can hook up to the alternator.
Can anyone help me with making this ridicules sound cease?
    Thanks

When it comes to critical parts like alternators, starters, etc. - there is only one way to go....OEM.

Your problem is likely the junk alternator that was installed.

The guy who installed it said to get a oem alternator, I wanted to but my hatred for being dicked around got in the way of my clear thinking and love for my truck.
My local Toyota dealership was treating me like shit and this was just attempting to have them look at it. I won't go into details, but it made me go somewhere else. And I guess I played the price. So my future goal is to get a factory one back in there. Thanks for your input!
