@RynoDyno yeah, I will be at Costco (McKinley) tonight after I get off of work. I know @BanzaiChicken lives near by so I wanted to throw the idea out. Nothing crazy, just meet and greet.

@RynoDyno Yeah meet and greet since we have yet to meet each other at all and it would be nice to learn some new faces around the area!

Hey guys quick question. I narrowed it down to the OME 885 or 887. I eventually want to upgrade my tires to the BFG ko2. Will it be better to go with the 887s since I will be upgrading tires in the future or could I get by with 885s with no rubbing?

I honestly have no clue on that one. What is the height difference between the 887 and 885 height wise? I'm pretty sure you could fit the KO2's but rubbing is going to occur either way unless you trim right? Can anyone clarify on this?

    Coil Specifications
OME 883 coils 590 lbs spring rate 375 mm in length
OME 884 coils 590 lbs spring rate 390 mm in length
OME 885 Coils 590 lbs spring rate 395 mm in length
OME 886 coils 660 lb spring rate 402 mm in length
OME 887 coils 590 spring rate 400 mm in length

887 is taller by 5mm, and i think that nets an additional .5" of lift? That's what other members have been stating. I could be off, but Marie from @HeadStrong Off-Road can clarify. I will be purchasing my new lift from her soon, she's very informative and doesn't mind all the questions I have asked her so far. I purchased my SPC LR UCAs from Marie as well. Hope this helps.

I used a dremel tool and did it in my friends garage. Cut about and inch off, and went at an angle. I can show you one day when we meet. I'll take a picture tonight and post it. Not the nicest job, but it doesn't rub anymore. :D

Yea Marie had responded with a very informative PM. She is definitely legit!

I am also considering waiting it out when bilstein and OME come out with their setups for the 2016s. I know the parts from 2005-2015 fit the 16s, but I am curious to see how the parts when they do come out.

So it seems that with a .5mm in height you are still looking at some trimming on the fenders. Even with my setup where i have spindles and new coilovers i still rub a tad bit on the driver side right by where the old mudflaps were.
