Neither, a true dual is going to really hurt your torque numbers and take some off the top of your HP too. Plus it will sound raspy and like a garbage fast and furious Honda.

Also you'll have a permanent CEL if you delete the cats.

Don't listen to the above. Cut all cats and run 8" stacks.

Yea, it's not a 1970s V8. The valves and timing is all set to work on the correct backpressure from the cats, exhaust, and all that. Best to not mess with any of that stuff if it's working ok.

Check engine light. It never shuts off when people do things like this.

Kinda renders the check engine light useless for other things.

If you just want noise try just running with no muffler and cats intact. Neighbors will hate you though and the drone will get really old really fast.

Why not just do a trd catback exhaust. The Tacoma is not a knuckledraggers truck. The Tacoma is bought by the most intelligent of vehicle owners. Slapping straight pipes on a truck is like drawing a handle bar mustache on the Mona Lisa. Goofy and idiotic. I get a kick out of all the dumbasses in Texas with straight pipes that make all this noise but don’t go anywhere.
