Disregard this I wasn't running straight pipes, it was open headers on the old 350.

The coolest thing to do in your truck group would be to have sense and put maybe just a muffler to get good sound instead of sounding like a near broke down piece of shit like the rest of the guys.

There was this one idiot in my old apartment complex that had some stupid loud exhaust on his challenger. He would let it idle for like 20 minutes before he would ever drive it. He would do this at all hours of the night while I was trying to sleep. So one day when he was asleep I bought a box of contractor bags and some potatoes and I shoved all the contractor bags down his exhaust with a broom handle. Took me about 30 min to complete this task. Listening to an engine turn over is a hell of a lot quieter than a stupid straight pipe exhaust. It got taken away on a wrecker and I didn’t see it since, I did move out a couple weeks later due to flooding.

This will sound truly awful. I've driven straight piped tacomas and they are almost unbearable to drive around town. Crazy cab resonating.

Just unbolt the exhaust from the headers and drive around for a while. You shouldn't have to mess with the cats, right?

How do you plan to run the exhaust by the plastic fuel tank?

Is the fuel tank plastic or just the cover? Asking because I really don't know.

Yeah, it was terrible. Stupid loud. Right after that, I put 4 magnaflow cats, magnaflow muffler, and vibrant quiet resonator.

I ran a jeep for a while without a muffler and thought it sounded cool at first. I was pretty happy when my neighbor donated a muffler to me. It was just loud not an upgrade.
