I can attest as well to this also with the guys who “roll coal” with their stacks.

Don't even worry about State emissions, cutting/removing/altering/tampering any emissions equipment is federally illegal. Add in the fact that the rig is now louder than the majority of rigs on the road and you can expect to get pulled over. All of these things draw negative attention from the cops and if its that loud and you piss off a cop, they'll cite you or tow your rig. I ran open headers from my house to the hardware store during the middle of my exhaust install and would never do that again, so loud and so much resonance. You can do put high flow cats on it that are 48-state legal and still remain compliant and add a 3" cat-back (AFE, Banks, Etc) and get all kinds of noise that at least has tone. I had an E46 M3 in the past and the rasp that came out of the tailpipes was unbearable, you don't want that high metallic pitch coming out of your car. Then do a Cold Air Intake to get induction noise.

Exactly! A 30k noise machine that will be guaranteed to vibrate your hands numb. No need to wear a helmet on a Harley either. Or any gear. The cigarette will protect you from road rash.

It's easy to make the case that seatbelts save lives, but it's not so easy to make the case that a helmet will save the life of the rider. Most people dont realize that above a certain speed limit helmets are worthless. Either way, wear it or don't, it should be an individual decision and not a mandate.
