    Howdy all you folks,
I am having a strange problem with my A/C. The drivers side is fine but the passenger side blows cool, not cold air. I have never had this happen with a vehicle before. Any suggestions are appreciated. Have a goodun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps One of the doors not closing all the way allowing warm air in on one side.

    Too few to list.
Air is blown by the same blower so perhaps there's some kind of obstruction in the passenger side vent tube.

Have you cleaned the cabin air filter recently?

    Howdy,
yep, I just changed the cabin air filter. The air still comes out of the passenger vents. It isnt cool like the driver vents. I know it sounds goofy but it is happening. Many thanks for the replies. Have a goodun!!!!!!!!!

Many times what we think we feel in temperature is not reality. I suggest that you use a digital thermometer to check each vent and see what the actual temperature difference is instead of relying on feel. .

Also you might get a digital hydrometer and check each vent. A difference in RH can make things feel a lot different than they actually are and the RH can differ significantly from vent to vent.

I recently checked my truck and it was blowing around 46 degrees with an outside temp of 88. However the RH (relative humidity) was around 35 or 36. That is a little low which means the air will not feel as cold as it is. A better RH would be between 45 and 50. What this tells me is that these trucks have too large of a system and lowering the RH a little too much for comfort. One way to help this out is not run the system on internal circulation. It is fine for about the first 10 minutes but after that it needs to be turned to outside inlet.

Have it checked to see if you have a leak or are low on Freon. I had the same issue and it was almost a pound low on Freon. Found the culprit to be an o ring on a service port. Got it fixed and now it's blowing nice and cool in all vents.

I've seen, mostly on dual climate control cars, it blow cold on one side and not so on the other due to it being low on refrigerant. You should get it checked out.
