Strange drum brake noise

Did it work for you? I’m having the same issue, not air in the lines, not the shoes, not the drums, not the hardware, not a dry backing plate, and not the adjustment. Only thing I have left to replace are the backing plates and bearings and I’m getting tired of throwing money at this f*****g problem without even an iota of improvement.

 

@0ne0ff no creaking sound is still their. Dealership can’t figure it out. Don’t want to void the warranty by taking to someone else.

 

Are there other dealers in town? You don't have to take it to the dealer you purchased it from. Any Toyota Dealer will honor the Warranty. It will not void the warranty.

 

Dang. On mine the sound is also audible around 20km/h(12mi) and below with the brakes on.

 

That original video did sound like related to the ABS pump. Never really knew what the DIY first job and then the shop did but hard to believe no one bled the system at some point.
Turn you key to ON not starting it and listen to the ABS pump - then when it stops press the brake pedal and listen/feel any oscillations.

Any air compresses in the brake line results like the new washing machines and having to add a water line damper but you still hear the water valve knocking as it fires on/off - just like the ABS pump would.
