Strange radio issues in my 2013 Tacoma

Hey everyone. So a few weeks ago I went out to my truck one morning and started it up and I wasn’t getting any sound coming from my speakers. I switched back and forth from Bluetooth to FM and all other settings but I continued to get no sound at all. Not even the beeping sound when you touch buttons on the screen. However, the screen works perfectly fine. Replaced all of the audio fuses...but nothing changed. Then I gave up and took it to an audio/radio shop in town and the guy told me I need a new radio. Then, not too long after that one day while driving around radioless someone called me and it rang through my speakers...I let it ring through just to see what would happen. Connected my phone, turned on a song and I had sound! Turned up the volume and it cut back out...and I haven’t had sound since.

I figured I’d post it here and see if anyone else has had the same or similar issue. I’m pretty convinced the speakers are fine considering it came on that one time and sounded fine. Not real sure where to start though. Open to suggestions.
