Just bought my first tacoma and I love the truck. When I turn my AC to high there is a rattle almost buzzing like coming from underneath the glove box. Any suggestions?

If you look under your glove box you'll see the fan motor, it's got three screws holding it together I think. There's a good chance that if you took it down it would have trash in it and you could clean it out and be strait. But sometimes I think they buzz because they are out of balance.

I cleaned mine out last year, it had so much straw in it it looked like a birds nest.

I think it was three, it could of been four. It was really easy, the hardest part was putting it back together but that's because you have to hold it up with one hand, put the screw in the hole with another hand then using your third hand grab the nut driver and turn the screw. I did it with two hands by balancing the screw in the nut driver with one hand and holding the motor with the other.

it may be a good idea to have something on the floor-board to set the fan motor on when you take it out or you'll have to hold it the whole time its out, or let it dangle from the wires.

Mice built a nest in my blower housing and it was very noisy. I stuffed some course stainless steel around the area where the hood hinges are to keep the critters out.

Its probably just leaves or something....but I've seen a few dead mice in my experience. They get get caught in the blades and almost chopped up. Its the worst smell you may ever smell when you go to turn the blower on lol.
