Take a picture of your amp, and the wiring, DETAILED photos. You should have a TW live account by now, just upload them with your phone.

Honestly, I'm going back to the basics of troubleshooting here.... you have the same system as before, only thing thats changed is your amp. You've disconnected all inputs to the amp yet it still makes the noise. Your speaker wiring has been verified. Honestly, if it was anything to do with a power wire, then the amp should protect itself.

Sounds to me like your amp is fucked.

impedance from the wires were measured at like 0.8-0.9 . So yes close to 1ohm.

hmm..I PROBABLY DID WIRE THEM WRONG! holy crap. The power wire and ground are BOTH RED! so it's possible that I did get them mixed up. when I get my hands on the amp tomorrow, so i'll hook them up and make sure I wired those 2 wires to their rightful place.
    thanks! i'll update you tomorrow.

Use your DMM to figure out which one is which. Report back in the morning.

    We'll figure it out.

LOL me too, I payed $120 for this amp, and it's under inspection, i'll reply tomorrow as soon as I get an update. All of you guys have been more than helpful. I'd really hate it to be a simple mix up with the wires. I'd be the ultimate dummy. ahah

the pos and neg for the subs yes, make sure you are running the ohm that is reccomended by the manufacture of your products and to ground take some wire doesnt have to be fancy and do a small soder on the exposed part of metal on the rca and then just ground that wire.....doing that gets rid of any noise feed that may be picked up from other things such as your car running

mine did the thumping that i believe you are talking about once, and the problem was that the positive wire in the positive terminal on the sub, was going all the way through the whole and making contact with the ground terminal. so make sure that somewhere in your wiring, that positive isnt touching ground and vise versa. hope this helps
