20171102_142914.jpg I have a 2000 2.7 4x4 m/t and I can not seem to find the right transmission mount to replace my wasted one. I even contacted the service dept at a local dealership and they were telling me the wrong mount as well. It looks like a 6cyl mount. Is there any way I can verify what mount this is before I go wasting my time again, buying one that wont fit?

    Thanks!

    Steve

That is the mount indeed for a V6. Odd that it fits yours no problem. When I replaced my mount a few months back in exchange for a polyurethane one it looked exactly as yours did.

A lot of the stuff between models was transferred over. It wouldn't surprise me if the frame is similar between the 4 and the 6 cylinder. They do it for cost saving reasons. Just get a V6 mount and call it a day since it seems to fit.

Exactly, because I cannot find a 2.7 mount that looks like mine. I'm at a loss. The mount that comes up based on what is supposed to be the correct oem part number (12371-0c020) looks like this, which is clearly wrong. [IMG]
The Toyota catalog shows this part as well. https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~insulator~engine~mounting~rear~no~1~12371-0c020.html
Talking to a dealer has been utterly fruitless as well. They just announce the part number like a robot and then glaze over when I try to explain the whole conundrum, again. :annoyed:

Unfortunately, no. I've got the 4x4. You can see in the photos above the legs are asymmetrical, one is straight, one is bent. It literally looks exactly like the 3.4 mount, but is evidently slightly smaller.

Have you checked with @gunny1005 at Camelback Toyota?

That may well be correct, but the illustration doesn't represent the actual part, if that's the case.

Is that a common thing in these Toyota databases? The inconsistency in the accuracy of these reference drawings is super annoying, sometimes they appear to be extremely accurate, down to differentiating sub-model specific parts physical attributes, other times they evidently don't bother to properly represent critical components.
