They all terminate in the attic (door access) so at least that's not an issue.

Get a router with upgradeable firmware and find a VPN you can upload to the router.

    I was looking at

    Linksys WRT3200ACM AC3200 MU-MIMO Gigabit Wi-Fi Router

but it doesn’t look like they are producing them any more, and for over 200 bucks, I haven’t been able to do it.

I'd stay away from VPN contracts.
$10 month for IPvanish no term contract and dedicated servers.
My local IP blocks content from unknown sources but I get it ALL without buffering or pixelating.

What’s the purpose of a VPN if you’re just using AppleTV?

Linksys 1900ACS is open source, I've had great luck with them. Open source routers aren't cheap, but they are worth it.

Be careful choosing VPNs. You need to look closely at their policies, where there servers are located, what their data retention policy is.... Cheapest isn't always the best.

My understanding is that sometimes internet service providers slow or throttle your connection if they see you are streaming. It’s also another way to protect all of your internet traffic from folks.

Some Routers allow VPN installs but not all. I have secure WiFi and run IPvanish on Android streaming devices.

ExpressVPN loaded onto a linksys WRTC1900aCS. You'll be locked down like Fort Knox.

Ya I already did the lifetime subscription, it’s only a couple months of cable, and I am hoping once I figure out what I’m doing, I can also upload and share some music we have started to record when we stream.

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking, I’ll order the router tonight.

To me it Seems really sketchy to find some seemingly fly by the night company to pay and route all your traffic through. But that’s just my opinion.

And for what? I haven’t had any issue at all with streaming quality or speed in the 5 years I’ve had Comcast. And I only have the basic low tier package.

But it’s worth mentioning I don’t have a computer at home, I only stream a AppleTV and Blink cameras and I order everything through cell service using PayPal when I can.

    No issues.

IPvanish is the only one I have found that gets blocked by sites which block cloaked devices. So I know it's working and I've tried many VPNs.
Like I said earlier my IP blocks streaming from unknown providers and causes buffering from many known streaming providers.

I have several Fire TV devices, a shield, and access to several Bravia Android OS TVs.

    The shield is awesome.

I would warn anyone away from an Amazon Fire TV device unless you're limited by budget or just want one to experiment with.
