I fully support your financial irresponsibility.

You can probably do a payment plan for a ring if that's coming up. Or source a nice cubic zirconium :D. Seriously though, the ring was the more expensive than anything I owned other than my home at that point in my life. Had a beater 4runner back then.

    I appreciate the support.

Luckily I already have a ring! So that's good at least.

Funny though isn't it, how much they want for those things now.

@BassAckwards I think you were looking for a before and after photo. This was the closest I could find to do a comparison, the changes are all pretty subtle but I'm a huge fan of subtle. Must have taken the first picture in about 2011 when I still had a work BlackBerry because it's not much better quality than a flip phone.

Looking sharp Leigh! This is a before and after with your custom stiffening kit for the front right? Looks just about perfectly level to me

Right - the earlier one is after my stiffening (and unintentionally, leveling) kit. Here's an older picture from 2018 showing before the kit. So must be a couple of inches extra (that's what she said?)

PSA: the SR5 suspension is pretty terrible. I didn't even realize I had bought an upgrade.

The 4600s ride great imo. Just threw a set on my truck recently too. A good bit larger than the stock toyota ones as well

Your old one looks pretty ragged. I've been thinking about 4600's, let us know how she rides once you're rolling again.

Yeah... 12 winters and 175k on them. They actually went bad a really long time ago I think. Will let you know what the ride difference is. Hoping for significant enjoyment.

It should be very significant going from bagged to quality.

    I figure it will be...

Also, I don't always work on my truck (just kidding I always do) but when I do, I wear Armani.

Initial thoughts on the 4600s, definitely more enjoyable than clapped stock haha. Definitely awesome when you consider the price ($262 CAD for 2 from Amazon). It hasn't been a great test because it's pretty slippery out - I think the true test will be cornering hard over bumps. With the nonexistent shocks that were on there, the truck would jump to the side when it hit a bump around a corner. But, my stiffening kit/rear spring helpers do make the whole truck feel like it's on a springboard...

Looks about as nice as it gets weather wise for a winter cruise! Where'd you get to?

Jasper! Doing some snowboarding. The snow isn't very good lol but a bad day on the mountain is still a good day.

I just ordered the TE37s. The price for four rims plus the center caps was way better than what I thought it would be through my contact. Thank you everyone who enabled me, I couldn't have done it without you!!
