I cut out the other enclosure face to use as a storage bin.. sometimes I wish I went 2 10's.. but this Sundown makes everyone think there are 2 back there. I haven't felt the need for more.

Have you ever tuned with an oscilloscope? Zero clipping.

Always good when you get what you want out of your subs!

Nary. I actually bought an oscilloscope for that purpose a while back but for some reason decided not to use it. Now I can't find it. Guess I should just buy another one.

I've never been more impressed with a piece of audio equipment. It's a monster. They undersold the RMS rating big time. Lol

And man that made such a difference.. highly recommend it.

I loved my JL box with the subs that came with it - ran it like that for years. Then one day I said "eh... I wonder if this can take a little more gain..." and POW. Oops.

Edit: but it sounded AMAZING for about 10 minutes.

Did the front brakes on my friend's truck. It had been a while since he did them, but it was astoundingly smooth, the easiest brake job I've ever done.

Yeah that was me - I ended up finding some, found out my good friend happens to be a Rays dealer.

Well... "finding some" meaning ordering some. They're on back order by at least 6 months...

Got it.. i see them pop up in 16s and 17s now and then with some of the resellers I follow and there was a rash of them a few weeks ago.

    Good luck with yours!

    I appreciate that Eddie!

That's sweet, although I ordered 20s. I'm more of a big rimmer kinda guy.

    @BassAckwards @TodayWasTHeDaY

I know you were interested in my thoughts on the 4600s, now that I've fixed the play in the sway bar and the roads have gotten a little clearer with the unseasonably warm weather, I've tested in a couple of different conditions now.

Icy bumps are fine - more than acceptable especially now that I can pay more attention with the clunk in the sway bar gone.

I semi-intentionally powerslid while turning into the train station parking lot a couple of days ago, when I used to do that, the moment I let off the gas the suspension would get all swimmy (although I had basically NO shocks before). With the new shocks, it recovered a lot more quickly.

Any guesses what project this 3" aluminum cap will be for?

    Lolz.

I definitely like the idea of the container for hopes and dreams. That's half of what keeps the truck from blowing an engine anyways.

I was about to change the plan to the onboard gloryhole on priority, but alas I am sticking with the original plan for now - I'm getting a friend to fab me an aluminum washer fluid tank.

So your existing washer fluid tank is now your methanol tank and the new tank will be washer fluid? Looks like a nice wide fill mouth. Going in the engine bay?

This will be a direct replacement for the stock windshield washer tank. I want to add some more dress-up to the engine bay, essentially.

I am keeping the Snow tank and reserve tank as-is - I am thinking, however, of going to something like this for the Snow tank, to bling it up even more and add more bare aluminum to the engine bay.

That would look pretty awesome. Shiny, polished aluminum does have a solid bling factor going for it.

I would like to enter in Driven Edmonton someday. Thought about it before... I do have a fear of people cutting wires and vacuum lines though.
