Hi guys. I was going to remove the engine cover from my tacoma that I bought used and the bolts are pretty stripped. My socket wrench keeps slipping on them. Any ideas on how to take these bolts off? Obviously Im buying new bolts. : )

    Easy outs work well.

The engine cover as in the plastic engine cover?

If so, it is held on by acorn nuts. The threaded studs can be replaced once the cover is removed IIRC.
