need some advice and recommendations. One of my most forward skid plate mounting threads on the frame are stripped and bolt does not seat all the way in. Anyone have some recommendations for a repair shop or recommendations on how to repair? thanks

M12 x 1.25 tap and die. Can be bought multiple places online. Home Depot says they have them in store, I've never seen a tap that big in a store. Dealer dicked up 2 of mine and I had to clean up the threads. Do both the bolt and the threaded boss.

Get with Yacob, you can have him fabricate something else for you while you're at it.

I will vouch for @Yacob_D work. It's top notch. Others I'm sure would agree.

I lost a few things in the move, or at least haven't uncoverd them yet. My metric tap is one of those things.

Finding the x1.25 has been difficult for me. I have like 3 large sets and none of them have the x1.25s in the larger sizes. A few times I've just said F it and rethreaded with a larger one

I can check my inventory! Appreciate you guys dropping my name for the added work. I am busy AF with the new gig and the heat is killing any motivation after I get home. Trying to tackle some side work as it comes but I dont have the time like I used to anymore. If I can help in anyway I'll try, I can be mobile and bring some goodies to make something work if needed.. Lots of work and no time to fit them in.. Should have tried to stick out the side gig longer before I started the new job as now I have a list of folks looking for things.

I am in no rush and this is no emergency. We can plan something out after the heat!

I've had to use a thread chaser but could also use a tap if you can't find a thread chaser in the correct pitch. If you do that and it won't hold to correct torque check out rivnuts.
