so a quick update after i got a call from langway yesterday and they wanted to reevaluate the damage but they couldn't look at it till next week but no mention about a fix, i called toyota corporate today and finally spoke with a supervisor and after explaining the situation she agreed with me (and everyone on here and facebook etc.) that if this was done by the factory it would be no question a warranty! finally!!! so i asked her if i was able to go to a different dealer and she said if i wasn't comfortable with langway then she said i could go to a different dealership and pay out of pocket for the repairs and then send her the receipt and they can reimburse me! rise the flag so as soon as i got off the phone with her i called bristol toyota and was able to set up an appt for tomorrow morning and i asked them to take pictures and save the old parts just in case they need them! oh yeah btw i never officially received a call or email from the owner of langway he just had his cronies call me guess he doesn't care about his customers or bad publicity :brianr: langway toyota

Use the power of Yelp and Google reviews. Others need to know how they treat their customers.

I'm glad you got it resolved. I doubt you had any trust in the first dealer after,,,, regardless of who paid for it.
What a petty chicken shit trivial thing for them to do.
Send them a link, TW has many members, may be eye opening,,,, though they'll never admit.

Just a thought for you to consider. Include a set of pictures with the receipt and a detailed letter describing the situations along with any correspondence with Langway.

Toyota may use the information to examine the "failure" and implement any corrective actions, either at Toyota or at Langway.

Keep the letter professional and polite. Just detail the facts.

Glad it is all working out.
