Has anyone had their their third brake light dimly strobing while the truck is parked? Any idea what this could be? I have a REDARC trailer brake controller, Garmin mini dash cam and tailgate lock that are wired into the truck. I wonder if any of these are involved. Truck has under 4K miles and everything works as it should. Can’t seem to add a video but here is a picture of it on. Sorry it’s a bad picture at night but it’s just gently strobing away like Rudolph’s nose.

That's just the typical "It's party time indicator"

Has the confetti exploded in the cab yet?

Also, was this picture taken on a Nokia flip phone?

Oh, one more. Glad it's not a FORD. When my 3rd brake light went out, the cruise control stopped working. Why? This was FORDs way of telling you that your 3rd brake light was out. Obviously. No dash light necessary... Is your cruise control still working?

On a serious note. It sounds like your wiring is fuckey.

No. That’s definitely not normal. In a couple of days not being driven your battery will be out .

On a serious note, YES it will be one of the many aftermarket items you have added to your stock lighting.

Thanks! Turns out it’s the REDARC tow pro elite... here’s some non flip phone pictures

The dim light is what stays on (strobing to the naked eyeball) when the truck is off. The brighter one is with the brake pedal depressed.

must be the plug and play harness from redarc I’ll have to get the multimeter out and see what’s the problem.

Thanks, I’ll check if it goes away when it warms up.
