    Hey everyone.

I'm looking to purchase a new rear bumper for my truck. I currently have an ebay bumper on my truck right now, but everytime I use the shackles on the bumper I end up pulling the bumper out. Any recommendations on strong HD bumpers that can withstand a beating/recovery? Im mostly looking for a HC bumper, so if somebody makes a strong HC bumper, I'm interested! Thanks.

What do you mean pulling the bumper out, did you mean pulling it off or is it moving outwards from the mounts? :notsure:

How many bolts is it mounted to the frame?

    Oh look, another mod....
If this is actually happening, then you didn't mount it properly to your truck.

I believe it's just bending the bumper out. It's mounted by 2 half inch bolts on each side of the bumper.

Have you tried not getting stuck? :cookiemonster:

The other alternative is to get yourself a hitch recovery shackle. The hitch should be able to take more abuse than a bumper face.

I haven't thought about that one haha. A hitch mounted shackle would also work!

Yep, not far from Tahoe. And we just assembled a batch with a couple extras available. Give us a call if interested in claiming one of them. @20tacosr5

I do not. After I bent it out I backed into a tree on purpose to bend it back in. Looks good as new, just want a tougher bumper
