oh all of this is just future conversation, next year at the earliest. I'm going to keep wearing this bike out, I just want to be prepared beforehand and keep an eye out for any smoking deals.

It was the spesh as I remember you seemed to be pretty pumped about it. That place was def sketch, but they did develop it well considering what they had to work with. I never got to hit the parking lot drop though which was sad since I couldnt find anyone who knew how to actually find it on trail.

I was sad when you sold the TR500, it was a solid build which I was afraid might be an end of an era for ya.

Honestly I think it would do very well as a pavement bike as thats quality schwinn stuff that we all know dont exist anymore!

I have recently swapped from my 29er transition smuggler to my 29er steel kona honzo since there is alot of pedally stuff here and man those freeride hardtails can really handle some shit. Im still getting used to just pounding the hardtail and testing it with sending stuff, but regardless hitting things on a hardtail only makes you faster on a full suspension later.

I'm happy to say I hit every feature, except clearing the giant box. too sketchy IMO. And I was pumped becuase I cracked a carbon Demo 8 and they replaced it with an S works!

I was bummed to sell it too, but I wasn't using it at all, and it was worth too much to just be sitting around. Once we buy a house, I'll build up another. (After the truck is on LT and I get a new trail bike) :)

Haha LT can be a long road depending on your funds, but glad to see it made the list! Honestly though most bike parks you can survive on a full trail bike now a days especially if flow is your thing although I would say mountain creek is likely a little more intense.

Mine is similar to the 2299 Honzo st which of course is their steel offering although mine is a few years old back when they first redesigned the geo to be more poppy.

Nice thing about steel is it has a crisp zero-fucks feel to it.

little update...I'd been having rubbing issues on my remote resi's ever since I went to 35s. didn't want to do spacer or get new wheels or anything like that so I've been trying to find other solutions. well my local buddy @tweakit88 is getting King rear shocks and wanted to have matching front so...I asked if he wanted to trade. He had the Dobinsons MRR front with 730# springs and the way the hose/reservoir are you are able to really move it wherever you want to. So we did a swap that worked out for both of us, and now I have no reservoir rubbing. just slight rubbing against the uca...lol

yeah I wish I was able to swing that but sadly won't be able to. having to be very choosy this year on doing much of anything. home remodeling, wedding planning, etc are all taking the top spots on priority list.
