    See video.

I'm trying to pull down the inner end of the strut rod, or remove the rod entirely, to try to remove the bushing. The studs going through the rod won't get past the next coil of the coil spring.

The bushings are actually inside a steel fitting. That's how the new ones come and they appear to match the old. I think I have to try to pound out the old ones somehow, like bearings. I might have to replace the whole strut rods instead of trying that.

I might be in over my head?

Remember this is a 2wd so different than most.

I'll try posting in the 5 leg section, thanks!
