For what it's worth I bought a Firestone lifetime alignment once. On the second alignment three years later I wasn't given the alignment printout. When I asked why I was told they don't do that with the "free ones". Never been back.

I’m pretty sure you should be able to go to any Firestone. Maybe you’d get better service at another one. I’ve gotten mine done 3-4 times in the past year and got print outs. I have heard bad things too but my experience it has not been bad.

I don't understand why anyone would want the "free" guy wrenching on their truck.. but that's just me

Well “supposedly” when you PAY for lifetime service you’re SUPPOSED too get the same service as a paying customer because they originally offered you a lifetime warranty and charged accordingly but a lot of the time when you come back 2 years later they don’t look at it that way and just try to slam you out with a peanut butter & jelly sandwich because you’re not paying this trip around. Kinda like sending your food back at a restaurant and being dumb enough to eat it after it comes back out…. Id hope that paying for a lifetime warranty would get me excellent service but it sometimes doesn’t seem so bit on the other hand I’m the guy that when you have my truck up in the air I’m standing outside watching you so… ?

Lifetime warranties...most of the time just a horse shit selling point by businesses with the hope/intent that customers are likely to never redeem it down the road, and if so, weasel their way out of honoring it (or do so half ass). I barely can stand a Toyota dealer performing warranty/recall work on my truck, so no way in hell I'm letting a franchise auto shop touch it.
