I have continuously had problems with my AC in my 02, v6 tacoma. It has 86k miles. There seemed to be leaks coming from everywhere. The condenser and compressor have both been replaced. The compressor was replaced with a salvaged one with 60k miles on it (long story).

A month or so after that the AC stopped blowing cold air. I went in with a UV light and saw fluid on the power steering fluid hose and some fluid directly below the compressor, similar to the first time the compressor was replaced. I also noticed fluid on the bottom of what I believe is the steering rack from underneath the truck, as if the fluid dripped down there. On the days it seemed I was losing cold air, right after turning the truck off I'd notice a periodic purging sound, but couldn't tell where it was coming from. Also when turning the car on and turning the AC on low, I could hear a brief slight hissing sound from the vents/dash area.

Whats the chances the compressor needs to be replaced again?

Is there any other common areas that the AC leaks from?
