Sure, you say it gets great reception, but behind your back, the girls are all pointing and laughing.

    They call you "stubby".

If you think anybody notices your FM antenna and goes "OMG UGLY" you're on drugs. Instead they are going to see your stubby antenna and say "wow that guy must not get any reception"

I just received my stubby antenna from Craven Speed. I saw one on a Tundra at the dealership where I work and thought it looked pretty good so I ordered one for my 2012 Tacoma. The reception is horrible. It is as if I don't even have an antenna at all. A coworker purchased his at the same time for his Tundra and his reception is fine. I don't really know what to make of that. I am thinking about returning it since Craven Speed has a 30 day money back guarantee. I like the look of it and rarely listen to regular radio since I have XM but I can't justify having something that looks good if it doesn't work.

Yep, I went with the 13 inch also. Looks so much better then the 32" that came on the truck and reception is the same.

Interesting, I never use my radio either, have it all on my Ipod thru the adapter on the 2012, but I wouldn't mind having one for the better looks. .

I do this too. Thought about a shorter antenna but i use mine as a feeler gauge way too much.

Nope. I unfortunately got stationed in Norfolk.and parking garages are everywhere..I too use it as a feeler guage.. My Yakima rack sits 1.5 inches below the antenna. If I'm hitting the antenna. I need to be cautious.

Haven't been on here in a while, but wanted to chime in about the antennas we have for tacomas. We now sell 5" antennas, and will be expanding our line of antennas to 6", 9", 12", 15" and 21" in black or polished. I will post again when they are online.
