    They sent me two of those same adapters (in pic above) so i'm wondering if that's what the problem was.

    Reception is perfect. I was kinda surprised.......it's the same if not better actually.

    Yeah I didn't get 2 of the same adapters so you just got lucky! Cool, glad to hear it's working.. I just ordered these for my parents Tacoma's.

    Got mine a few days ago. Install was easy, though I didn't find a factory antenna key anywhere.

    Works great and nothing hits the garage ceiling :)

    Can anyone tell me what the adapter size I'll need for the Tacoma? I am looking at another 6" stubby antenna but I want to make sure it comes with the proper adapters.

    I have yet to take the stock one off. Is our connecter male or female? What size?

    Want mine?? They are a useless as shit on a stick! I have a white one in my desk and that's where it works best. 14-18" is ideal off the fender. If you go off a roof like the MINI Cooper they might work.
