Pardon me but that really is not a very fair assessment. The last time he got stuck a few weeks ago, a lot of people were offering to drive a few hours to help him. A member here actually was able to get out there and help him.

People were saying THEN that he should be more prepared equipment-wise and not to go alone. But again he got himself into a predicament without being prepared as well as going alone.

I have a 2010 TRD Sport DCLB, although a 4x4, no lockers. This fall I was vacationing around the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia and asked a local where to find some easy to moderate 4 wheeling, he obliged and off I went. It was just the wife and I and the access road was the easy part, when we got to the point that the trail obviously took a more difficult attitude we decided to progress slow and cautiously. Knowing that I do not have a winch or lockers, the possibility of getting stuck up in the mountains far away from any help, we decided to turn and head down the mountain.

My point is you have to take a realistic assessment of your situation and make good decisions especially when wheeling alone. Things can turn very bad in no time at all, it's just not worth it.

This is not a judgment on the OP, consider it a public service announcement. Wheeling is a great pastime and none of us want to hear of folks getting hurt or worse. Have fun but think safety first.

OP gets stuck in a ditch, walks to town, gets a come along and gets out of the ditch. Scouts around for another way out, finds someplace that looks doable. After 2 tries he gets up to the top to find some rednecks partying with chics and beer. Has a few beers, and heads home.

Now he's stuck in his driveway and can't find his wheel chocks. Me thinks he had too much beer and chocked his wheels upon arrival at home and now can't find them cuz he's high on the meth he picked up from his lab out in the boonies.

After studying that pic of the "hill" that the op has become one with for a week now. I was able to determine the actual angle of said hill of doom to be approximately six degrees and no real threat. The wife said she would go up there herself in her Ford Focus and get him home for the holidays. I asked if she wanted to take my truck but she said that would not be necessary. This is going to be VERY embarrassing for him to say the least.....

I had one beer, the chicks didn't look anything like that (more like 18 year old redneck girls) and the hill in question is fucking stupid. I wish you all could see it in person, it sucked.

Think, so steep that when I put on my e brake while going down it I slid, and wouldn't stop sliding until I hit the brakes myself.
