Yeah, a "come along." as written above.

Make sure you've got enough rope or cable to reach the nearest sturdy attach point. -- If using rope, that's a 1" diameter(!) or thicker polyester blend. 1" polypropylene ("truck") rope is NOT strong enough and will snap, possibly giving you serious injury!

And get a cheater bar (pipe) to fit over the handle. You may be strong enough to pull it for ten "clicks" but you won't last for the necessary 10,000 "clicks."

    Shovel.

    Pry bar.

Extra wam clothes. Water and food. Headlamp flashlight. Tough leather gloves. It's getting dark and cold. Protect yourself from hypothermia.

Think road building when you can. It's easier to build a road your truck can drive uphill on, than it is to manually pull your truck uphill.

True story: I took some cub scouts sailing one day. While one scout was at the helm, I didn't watch close enough and let him steer us aground onto the mud (the channel shoals quickly there.) The boat was stuck but good. Fortunately, I was able to hail a buddy in a small powerboat to come and haul everyone back to shore.

Later that night, at high tide, around midnight, in the rain, I had him drop me back out there so I could free my boat. I packed up waterproof rain gear, and warm water resistant clothing, as well as the various pieces of gear I needed.

But just as important, I packed up a thermos of coffee and pack of oreo cookies to keep my spirits up while I worked. I knew it was going to be a long tough job, and letting myself get cold, wet, or tired, would turn a hard, tedious job into a dangerous one.

My point? Bust your ass, to be sure. But take care of your body while you're doing it.

Damn dude, If I could come help you I would. Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the country. Keep your head up, you'll get out..... eventually! Make sure you eat something and take an extra pair of socks. Nothing like fresh socks to make your day better.

    GL OP!

    Seriously...

OP, never 4-wheel alone. I figured you learned your lesson the last time, but here you are again... Wheeling alone and getting stuck.

Might be time to call a tow truck.

Come-alongs are a lifesaver. My Tacoma and a buddy's F250 got stuck in some Mississippi mud and a come-along saved the day. Before that event I never even heard of a come-long being from SoCal.

    stock, for now
Every truck ive ever had, had a come along, strap and other accessories in it just enough to get me out. Thankfully ive never needed it. Best of luck to you, sounds like you should stop at walmart on the way home and spend 100$ on a come along and a couple straps
