    Hey guys,

First post here. I have an 05 2.7L Access Cab 4x4 with a 5 speed manual. I recently took the truck down to they Keys for the weekend. Truck did fine on the interstate, and around town. Never engaged the 4WD. Got in the truck on Tuesday to go to work and noted the steering was a little stiff. Checked power steering fluid and it was a little low so I added some. Still feeling like the power steering was out. On a hunch I turned the 4wd switch to 4hi. Light just blinked. Sounded like the actuator kicked in but the light kept blinking. So I tested a little more and realized that all 4 wheels had drive. Looks like the truck is stuck in 4hi with no indication on the dash.

    Any help is greatly appreciated,

P.s. History of frame replacement, power steering lines replaced, new front shocks and coil overs, new rear leafs, rear diff reseal. All within the last 3 months.

Probably something to do with the frame replacement, its not uncommon for people to have electrical issues afterwards. I'd take it back to the dealership that did the swap and let them know

Actually, if it's stuck in 4wd it'd be best to get it towed there

try turning the 4wd switch to 4wd then back up a little ways then go forward, then turn the switch off and do the same thing.

No luck. Checked the fuses too while I was out. Going to give the dealership a call tomorrow.
