    Gauge lights not working.

Radio works race radio headlights fan motor horn blinkers work all 12v electrical devices seem fine

    checked battery voltage good
    Checked batter ground to Frame
    Checked battery ground to body
jumped started trigger to 12v pos starter does crank with jumper
Jumped 12v pos to fuse box lug
    Checked all fuses
    Tried starting in neutral
Cooler has beer in it but getting low
Turning key to start hearing slight clicking in fuse box and clicking at ecu

Any common issues to look towards. Almost in la Paz stuck in constitucion in Baja Sur.

If you have a test light or voltage meter check the powers and grounds at the STA Relay.
Pins #1 and 5 should have power with key in CRANKING position.
This should help narrow down the problem, quicker and easier.

What does the battery voltage do when you try to start? Have you tried to jump start from another vehicle or charged the battery? Is it an AGM battery? Sounds like a bad battery and my experience with AGM's is they give very little to no warning too when they will fail.

Disconnect and clean your battery terminals.
Reinstall with a dab of grease on the contact areas.
    Crank and roll!

This would be my guess too. The connection between the terminals and posts could be loose, oxidized, acid covered. All you would need is a $2 battery brush from any auto parts store, and a 10mm wrench.

I’ve been fooled myself. Testing can show good ground and positive connectors. Yet your symptoms can pop up. Even if they look clean, feel tight, oxidized posts can cause those problems.

    Yup.
Measured voltage does not equal available current.

Lead oxide is one hell of an insulator.

I have come across several situations at a grocery store, convenient shop, or big box store where in the heat of the summer someone finds themselves in the parking lot with a no crank situation, yet all other low current draw 12v circuits work fine. Some even claim it's a new battery. Happens A LOT to new batteries in the summer.

I give the terminals a quick whack to break the oxide layer and vroom they are off to the races.

    Not between them.

    Each pin should have 12v.
One end of the meter (black) to a known good ground. (Battery negative)
The other (red) to the relay pin.

Or is this what you did?

Lack of dash lights while everything else works is suspicious.

I would track down any relays and fuses related to starting and give them a wiggle or reseat them, something could just be loose after 10 hours of running.

With the ignition on (not cranking).
Do you have power to the 7.5A Gauge Fuse?

This almost sounds like an ignition switch problem?

Pin #5 is powered through the ignition switch.
Check the 30A AM2 fuse. If it’s got power. You are going to need to get to the ignition switch.

The 30A AM2 fuse also feeds the gauge fuse.
Let’s hope you get lucky with the 30A AM2 fuse. :fingerscrossed:

Man, if only you could find someone that was an expert at hot wiring. Is that even a thing anymore?
