stuck in the snow

Stuck in the snow on fs-9702 near red top mountain outside of Cle Elum. Anyone around that can give me a hand?

 

Try finding a local Facebook recovery page? Or look for a region specific page in this forum?

Have you tried digging yourself out, 99% of the time in snow that works

 

Shit, that's the Teanaway trail. That's not technically open until Summer because of this. I'd try contacting the ranger station though, I don't know any TW members in ellensburg or cle elum

Dig, use floor mats or branches as traction, AIR DOWN

 

I second AIR DOWN. Drop them to 10psi if you have a gauge, you'll probably back right out of there!

 

What in the flying f*ck is going on here? That is one pile of questionable decisions leading up to this situation. And I've made a lifetime of questionable decisions. Get on that bike and go find some help. Man I feel for you. It's going to be a long night with some really difficult conversations and hard labour. Tell us the whole story when you are free.

 

Get under it, jack it up, and place anything solid under the tires to fill the holes some. Always got me out in a 2wd truck.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've tried jacking but the snow is too soft even with support. Looks like I'll be stuck overnight.

 

Are you prepared to spend the night? What will you do in the morning that you won't/can't do now?

Damn, you took social distancing a bit too far.

Snow this time of year sucks, best to dig, find branches to stuff under your tires, and stay the fuck home when you get out.

 

Hate to see you give up already. I know its hard to tell what is really going on from the picture but I would think if you could dig around all the tires and get your frame, axles free from snow and air down you could get some movement. Once you can get rockin back and forth a little it should get easier. I really hope you tried airing down.

 

Honestly doesn’t look that bad, get it off the frame and I bet you can get out. Your car tires aren’t helping the situation either.
