Not me, my buddy. Went wheeling and shooting with our wives. Finished and on our way to dinner, leaving his property he radios "Hey, think I can cross my pond?" I'll admit, I didn't think he could, so I radioed back, "Sure, shouldn't be a problem."

3 hours, a snapped winch line and another truck later we finally pulled him backwards by daisy chaining my truck and an F150.

    And never went for dinner.

This happened about two weekends ago when I least expected it. Was on a trip near soda lake with two jeeps and two side by sides. The trail was marked "Green Circle" as "Easy". I have been on worse for sure. We were out of the canyon and came accross this. The first jeep had some trouble with it. The second jeep wasnt too bad. Then I was last. Had no trouble at all until everyone thought I was good to go and let me be. At the end of straddling the ravine all of a sudden my truck sunk with a loud bang! Scared me a bit. The road collapsed on me! It was soft sand. It swallowed the drivers side of my truck! I am very grateful I had my CBI rock sliders! Used every bit of them on the driver side. Landed right on it for sure. If I did not have them my truck would have some body damage on the driver side or would have tipped over. I also got to get unstuck by using my winch for the first time. Only because I could hook up to the jeep. If I was alone I would have some what screwed or been stuck alot longer. Good ole fun!

Wow, that road looks more like a dirt road than a 4x4 trail from the pics. Crazy that it just collapsed on you like that. Glad you got out with no damage!

Yeah pretty much was a dirt road which was a bit embarrassing to get stuck....but it happens. Was In two wheel drive most of the time. Just put in 4 before doing this because I saw the road starting to collapse on the jeeps. Sure enough when I least expected it the road collapsed.

Misjudged the snow depth on a trail at night a few weeks ago and sunk pretty badly. Had to winch out after digging and traction boards failed

At The a compound in Palm Bay, FL. This was a "hold my beer, I got this shit" moment. Turns out, I did not in fact "have this shit."

So there I was, toward the end of a fun day of trail riding and someone told me there were some pretty fun ravines on the other side of the canal. I found a spot where it looked like a crossing, there were some obvious tire tracks, so I followed suit and sunk almost immediately to the frame.

Word of my dumbassedry quickly spread across the CB channels and the crowd of spectators and commentators grew rather quickly.

Took a cummins 2500, an F250, and an XJ with a winch to get me out.
