I have my radio pulled out but i cannot figure out how to take the silver trim piece off to paint it, I see the two clips on the top and sides but it won't come off at the bottom around the clock. Any advice???/

Its not a trim piece its part of the radio...If you buy the radio the whole thing comes together.

Might can get it off but you're gonna have to unscrew something and what not.

    Huh, didn't know.

Is yours textured or smooth? Don't think I've seen someone paint a textured one. The painted silver ones look cheap to me but to each their own.

It all comes apart. You have to look on the back and unscrew all the little screws. There is like 10 of them. The buttons just push out once you get it off. The screws are really small so be careful.

I can post some pics of what it looks like all torn apart, (I bought one and then went another direction, ended up getting bored and took it all apart) will post them tomorrow when I get home.
