Stuck Rotor, ideas?

    Old Man Emu 885s with Nitrocharged 90000, Bilstein 5100 in the back with AllPro 3 spring progressive AAL, 16 inch Baja Black 6-spoke alloy wheels, Flow Master exhaust, bed lights, Pioneer HD radio, Uniden CB Radio, K&N Air filter, BAMF Sliders w/kickout, Relentless Aluminum IFS Skid, 24 LED light bar, custom/homebuilt expedition style bed rack and basket combo, and Body Armor rear plate bumper.
    Short of going at it with a blow torch and heating up the rotor, anyone have any ideas to get off a stuck rotor? or any words of caution on what not to do? I finally gave up today and put everything back on (replacing both rotors and pads) I had enough after 3.5 hours of hitting the damn thing with penetration oil and banging on it with a damn hammer. I just could not get the driver side rotor off.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll be seeing my parents next week and I'm going to borrow my dad's "burzomatic 4000" torch. If that doesn't work I don't know what the heck I'm going to do.

    Are there holes in the rotor you could thread a couple bolts into to press it off the hub? Haven't looked at my tacos brakes yet but that's a fairly common feature.

    PB BLASTER works very well. better than most penetrating fluids.

    No. Damn it. I'm even more mad at myself now. Granted this is the first time I've done this but I should have looked closer and realized what those holes were for.

    Ok, well since you guys know more about what we're talking about do you know what size bolt fits in there?

    Probably a 12mm. Pop the hood and grab one and see if it fits

    Ok, I'll try this after work tomorrow. Have too much other stuff to do today, Thanks for you help though, hopefully I can crank this out tomorrow

    The bolts I use to remove a stuck rear drum are M8-1.25 . I'd start there.

    Snugtop cab high canopy.
    The bolt holes to pop my brake drums off fit the bolts that held the skid pan on.

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    Same bolts, if it's a stock rotor.

    bolt holes stripped on my rotors when i did them. hammer wouldn't knock them off, so i just swung the blunt side of an ax at the back of the rotors. two taps and they came right off. only use this method if you are replacing the rotors though, because you'll dent the rotor.

    FYI: Most axes are heat treated, and will snap when struck with another hard object, or vice versa. Hope yours hasn't. Hate to see you mess up an axe when sledges are cheaper;)

    i wasn't full swinging with it. that was 3 years ago. same axe still lives in the bed and is going strong to this day.

    Yep I have new slotted rotors going on. Just makes me nervous because if I beat the hell out of the rotor and still cant get it off, I'll have to drive the truck to a shop so they can do their magic..

    I'll try the bolts tomorrow after work, and if that doesn't work I'll move onto the Burnzomatic 4000 and a hammer to the back of it.

    either buffer the rotor with a 2x4, or use a composit dead blow hammer if you're worried abotu marring the rotor and still having to drive. even a small ball peen hammer will dent the rotor

    My trusty 3lb HF hammer has yet to let me down on jobs like that. If the screws don't work I would just wail on it :D
