    when I almost sunk it half the cab had water in it, i had to replace the ECM & head unit (warrantied :-D) I think I got away pretty lucky.

    *edit* - Airbag ECU under the passenger seat

    used a snap on modis scanner at work. salt water! ah man you have full coverage? how much water in the truck? you'll most likely be chasing problems for awhile.
    my buddies lifted ram on 35's took on a lot of water from sandy, we tried for a month to get it back to driveable but every time we would fix one problem another would surface. the salt water turns the wires & connectors to dust. his insurance company ended up taking the truck, I think he made a good decision on that one.

    yea ....pretty sure it has to be that module.....guy on ebay says to mail him mine and buy one of his others for $125 and have him reprogram it ....for $75 and im back in bussiness

    not looking to total my truck..if i wanted to do that i could have just left it.....
    just looking to turn my air bags back on....
    i mean all these guys swamped theirs.."i do understand the diff between salt water and fresh"
    and its not my trucks first exp. with salt water and such......
    id love to get the code checked before i dump $200 in a new module...
    i mean module under water for 8 hours = no worky......cant see anything else that would cause this.....
    hell my landlords bmw that was parked next to mine and was floating and shorting out still works ...he drives the freakin thing evey day...i told him that shit would never start.....
    dont even think dipshit changed the oil....
    i might go outside and mess with it later....or not:D

    I get that, seems like you have it good enough that they wouldn't consider totaling it at this point. Could at least get insurance to cover some of the shit I would think?
