    Still thinking about it.
You guys should come to Alaska if you want to get REALLLLY stuck. I don’t have any Tacoma pics but I sure got my old Silverado and Tahoe stuck a few times when we first moved here and I didn’t know better.

One of the few times I had to use the winch on a self-recovery. Lots of shoveling and MaxTrax weren't enough to come up over the lip of the ditch

Pretty much just because. I had never gotten the taco stuck and wanted to push its limits a bit. I felt better that there was a fully locked Jeep Rubicon stuck in exactly the same place on the trail two hours later.

Left rear was close to dropping into the grass which dropped off quickly (drops 8 feet within 6 feet of the lr wheel). Ended up yanking the truck backward to the right and was able to back out of it.

I tried everything. The mud had a suction hold on me. We had to anchor the truck that winched me out to keep from pulling it in

A photo essay: why you always send it.
Apparently you should read the sign that says "don't drive in the river" BEFORE you drive in the river, not after. Plus don't take risks when you are alone and night is about to fall.
