Hello, just got these Method NV's in 17 inches. Took them to Costco with Procomp ET Lug Nuts and they said the studs are too short... Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions? Here are photos of what I bought. 8QHVSnhnS9SHTlSF3t%GIQ.jpgC1R5OU8%T+2QSVM8Ud49kQ.jpg

Sup man! :fistbump: Just tryna get these 285's on my truck haha!
Yeah, they said the stick studs are too short. I'm unsure if they tried to use my new lug nuts that I left in the truck because they were asking what box it was in and where it was when I went to pick the truck up. They said the lug nut would only get 1 or 2 threads.

Man, I’ve never heard that before, though I’m not a wheel/tire expert. I thought all aftermarket rims would be compatible.

    Keep us posted!!

Are the above lug nuts not extended thread?? They say ET on them and the man who sold them said they would work just fine.

no those are just extra length lug nuts not extra length on the shank which is what you need.

Studs are not too short. You need the long seat type instead of the acorn style lug..

    NOT THESE

Okay gotcha. I ended up taking my new lugs nuts and wheels/tires to Discount and they said the new lug nuts were fine and were able to put it on without any hassle.

Please be careful. Just because they work does not mean they catch enough threads on the stud to be safe. The bottom acorn style lugs will only thread onto the exposed portion of stud which may only equate to 5 or 6 threads. I went thorugh the same issue with my SCS wheels when I had to order new lugs.

Gotcha. Are these the acorn style you were talking about? When I called Method Race Wheels and told them what I bought, they said these would work.73B42A36-FFE5-4D19-9E8B-AB04A712443B.jpg

They do look near identical to the lug nuts Method sells.

Those are the ET lugs. You got the correct ones.
