Stuff that people say about you taco that pisses you off

All of my friends keep telling me how badass my truck is. But, being from Texas and close to Ft. Worth, my school contains the usual dipshit wannabe rednecks with lifted chevys that I always hear talking about how awesome they are. I just don't hang out with those losers

 

anyone else notice that Chevy stopped using "like a rock" in there tv ads? They now have that old football dude.

 

I have one friend who always makes fun of my truck calling it "Jap Crap." Went wheeling with him this summer, me in my Tacoma and he in his Grand Cherokee, both stock. I have a 4-door long-bed, which you'd think would be more likely to scrape than a GC, but while my buddy was scraping rocks every few seconds, I think I scraped once the entire 4+ hour trip.

Regardless, I couldn't care less what people say about my truck. I have owned a few Jeeps in my life, and while I still love Jeeps, my Tacoma is the best car/truck I have owned, so anyone else's opinion doesn't matter.

 

i basically don't hang out or talk to people that think that way.....plenty of rednecks like that around here....lol....it's like they buy a chevy , ford , or dodge just cuz that's what their dad's always had or whatever....they aren't smart enough to see how things have changed....old domestic cars were pretty good...the new ones suck and are unreliable.....toyotas, hondas, nissans are all built in america by american people now....my grandpa worked at general motors...guess what?...they closed that factory down.....laid off all the workers.....i work at a honda factory....times have changed....plus who wants to get 15mpg when you can get 22 with the price of gas these days...

 

Funny 90% of the vehicle's on the road are toyota, and they didn't need a bail out!! THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!

 

just remind people that dodge and chevy required government bailouts to stay afloat. maybe if they built a better product people would buy them.

 

A neighbor of my parents told me I don't have a man's truck. I then asked him why his 2008 Chevy truck was on jack stands? He had nothing to say afterward. I think something happened to his transmission.

 

EXACTLY!! Gawd their ignorance pisses me off. And it's so lame too because they ALL live in the suburbs and just act the way they do because "that's how you live in Texas". And all this crap about Japanese designed vehicles is retarded too, they obviously are smarter than the domestic car guys that need a government bailout. LAME!

 

The day a friggen Ford, Chevy or Dodge can survive this WITHOUT replacement parts is the day I'll eat some humble pie and admit that they are as good as Tacos. In the meantime all you clowns who make fun of my truck can keep cruising in your money pits while I smile at the sweet smell of rock solid reliability and my o-so-stubbornly immovable resale value.

Some one would have to be mentally impaired to make fun of your truck.

 

I get more hate from other 4x4 Coma owners... since I took off the 4x4 flaps and V6 SR5 badges, some Coma owners ask me why I didn't get a 4WD. When I show them the dial for 4hi and 4lo, and the rear diff lock button, the 4x4 Coma owners then ask me why I debadged it and say crap like "that's stupid". Then I tell them that I debadged it to make people think my truck is a base model so haters and thieves won't even bother messing with it. I need to take off the Tacoma badges and TRD Off-Road decal next. I think the Coma looks better w/o all the badges and flaps. Looks higher and simple.

Honestly, more ADULT American truck owners give me compliments and say stuff like "I wish I bought a Toyota truck... those Tundras are bad ass"... or... "All I need is a Tacoma like yours to pull my speedboat (or haul my dirt bikes)". Simi Valley has a lot of bros. Teenagers with monster trucks look down on me, literally. But I don't care about their opinions since they're just kids anyway.

 

There was this one guy told me that I wasn't a good american because I bought foreign vehicles...he said he didn't support anything foreign! I said cool dude...go home and throw all your shit away cause it was all made in a foreign country...whatta cocksucker eh? Oh and he called it a rice burner, I said thats fine...when your piece of shit ford is fuckin breakin down every 6 months don't come to me crying!
