:facepalm:yep it was a strange design robust but strange in the fact that the bracket has lateral adjustments but the center bolts prevent any lateral adjustment lol.

i was looking for a center light hoop and in 1/4 '' steel so 140 was for that bumper. dude that bumper would literally be bomb proof 1/4 inch plate steel is some tough shit you could just mow down trees all day

i would suggest line-xtra you can match it to your body color and completely seal the bumper off from the world it is some tough ass stuff first state line-x is a good shop in delaware so no tax either :D

they are spraying my whole truck very soon.

Stunt Man: I saw in another thread you were looking at changing the rear bumper. Is that true? If so, what are your plans for the ARB?

 yes i would like to have a high clearance rear bumper on there but my arb is in the front of the truck lol not sure what your asking?

i have been waiting for arb to release their rear bumper for a year now but if it has no recovery points like the front its gonna be a no go other than that i believe it will be worth the wait.

    thanks colton :)

i put alot of love into it this summer,,, and blood and sweat and she still has a good way's to go.

over the next year i'm looking into gears and lockers front and rear a full line-xtra paint job. then i need the winch and the headlights believe it or not need to be redone again fucking jb at black flames is a complete loser i picked this set up on memorial day weekend and one is out and they both have condensation every time it rains.

i really wanted the lights and the winch sorted out before the cold weather gets here though working outside in the winter fucking sucks

Yeah, it shows that you have put a lot into it over the last while. It's changed a lot since I was following your build last. That ARB made a HUGE difference in overall appearance.

That's shit about your headlights. You have LS430 (460 maybe?) in there right? Those things are supposed to be the bees knees. I hope you get it ironed out and back up and running. There is no excuse for fogging when someone does a retro. Did he just use the stock sealant and smash it back together, or did he reseal it?

What are you going to do for lights? I have had a few experiences with lights now, both good and bad. So I have my biases, just curious as to see what you're thinking of doing.

sorry, I just re-read this. I meant the front bumper. In another thread you made mention that you were going to be looking into a square tube front bumper. (not rear) and I was wondering what you were going to be doing with your ARB bumper...

the set i have now are minis when black flame ruined the second set of 460's it was clear to me that he was not capable of retro fitting them correctly.

so i told him to make me this set and i would eat the cost on the parts. but the drivers side headlight looked dim and both where rotationally out of alignment by 20 degrees or more i fixed the alignment issues but the drivers side shit the bed yesterday i have had them in the truck since memorial day and now they are shit...

i'm going to bjorn at custom lightz this time for the retrofitting work. i was looking at fxr's this time same look and set-up as i'm running now just with the infiniti projector instead of the dookie mini's

Yeah, I think I may tackle a big retro soon myself... I'm sure I can get a good turn around on the set I currently have, and I already have an extra set of lights so it just may be worth it haha.

bjorn is supposedly the best on the east coast. the best besides clearcorners.com so if i redo the set i have now which i have to i want this guy to do them what are you running now?

like i said this is my second set of minis and they pale in comparison to the 460's in many way's like the color o the cut off the foreground lighting and the light out to the sides lol in every way really.

so this time i was thinking about going a step ahead of them by getting the fx-r's to get better lighting while retaining full functionality for the water crossing an shit i be doing lol.

I am running the Mini D2S... I like them, but I wish they were a little fuller at distance. I am considering changing to 55w Bulbs and ballasts to get the light a little fuller out there. My fear is that they will be bright as fuck to oncoming drivers
