Yeah, I know the feeling, I first took my truck to mr. tire for a alignment after I installed my lift and they had everything way out of spec and actualy took a mini sledge hammer and started smacking my uca (didnt realize the balljoint was backwards).. As soon as I seen that I had them drop my truck and give my money back. Ended up at firestone, they were way more knowledgable and were willing to put everything to the specs I wanted.

I now have a clunk coming from my right front suspension, only happens when goiing over small bumps (like rocks). Dosnt sound bad when hitting a bump but when i go off the road, sounds like my wheel is gonna fall off. Been happending for a month or 2, hasnt got any worse, iv checked all the bolts/nuts, everything seems ok. Im just gonna go back to wheeling it and if something breaks, ill know what it is finally, haha

my lift came out a good bit more than three inches is it possible that in that short amount of time/ miles i could have killed my tie rods axels? nothing binds btw it just cluncks and creaks now and i have no idea why?

i don't mind a little noise hear and there but, stuff like that scares me when on the road more than anything i'm just worried about something actually failing.

i just got off the phone with ok auto. they are going to align it properly and put 2 new tires on the front for me and i also plan on making them refund me one of the alignment jobs or should i have refund both?

lol as i was explaining this to the guy i hear that he really cared on the phone lol. didn't want to admit them being in the wrong but, i fully plan on getting these people to fix what ever they screwed up including my new tires.

this would not have bothered me so much if they didn't practically refuse to look at the instructions so their ignorance is now eating into my time and fucking with my ride. i should have installed things myself and made sure it was right from the start.

lesson learned and next time this will not happen because i'll be doing the work myself lol.

on a different note i think i'm ready to pull the trigger on a winch setup for my arb bull bar.

arb recommends warn winches they told me there bumpers where designed around warns geometry.

my question is i have like 500 bucks to spend what should i buy out of the warn line up? i do plan on relocating the solenoid so its not sticking up out the front of the bumper. what does the tw community recommend?

edit: i can't run an integrated solenoid with the arb fyi.

    thanks for the recommendations :)

Starting out at RC might not be the best idea. We need to get you on a flat dirt road first. We could always pick a date to do some of the wide main trails. I have some friends and family that need to hit the woods in their trucks, but have the same issues as yourself and it's fully understandable. My sister isn't going to scratch up her 60k Sequoya and same with my buddy and his Titan. Both of them need to get some miles on their 4x drive trains and have been asking me to lead them around.

    thanks guy's:)

i just pm'd CBI to look into there high clearance rear bumper all decked out and a set of sliders and skids then she will be armored head to toe. i'm also looking for a roof rack but, for the regular cabs they don't actually make anything do they? kinda sucks lol

the warn winch is going on there on the 18th of november which sucks because it's gonna be a frozen snot fest trying to instal it in the driveway. as soon as i get it hooked up though i'm dragging my wife's stupid little car against it's will

moisture issues lol i actually can't believe it dude he had used a ton of butyl rubber and squeezed them together pretty good then laid jb weld and black silicon all over the rest of the lights. front and back i do not see how water is making it's way in there at all? it's only my passenger side however so it's not that big a deal but, it's annoying for sure.

he is coming back to my house in a few days to fix them it's just a bummer and at this point it's getting old.
