    LED's so far :-/
I like the placement. It's in a common place where it seems like it would be used often...In other words it's in a location where the average Taco owner would want access to it just like they want access to ventilation and to start the engine... vs GMC's chevy's who's if I'm not mistaken, have 4x4 knobs that are small and on the left side behind the steering wheel and it just looks like it's in an obscure location where it's not expected to be used very often...just my $0.02.

Can you guys please stop calling your trucks tacos? I was looking at some posts the other night before bed and the wife asked me what I was reading so I told her I was reading how to clean a dirty taco and she punched me in the face.

Can you suggest a better location? I looked, doesn’t seem to be anything without moving something else to it’s place.

I’m gonna shave my door handles so I can put shaved taco on my plate. Seriously though other truck guys might respect us more if we didn’t name our trucks after vaginas

or did they name vaginas after the truck:anonymous:
or were they both named after the food and the "folding tacomas"

My wife has called me wondering what the light on the dash was for, she was driving around town with 4wd on. I've grabbed the wrong knob multiple times, but have not turned it on. I'm always forgetting to turn it off after using it.

I haven't looked myself to determine how I would want it placed. Its too late for that now anyway. I do think I will put something over this knob like the textured red ring shown in a picture earlier in this thread.

The FACT that multiple members of this forum have all mistakenly turned this knob instead of the fan control shows that it is a real problem....again just for some. But to put it into perspective NO members here are having issues with the other knobs or controls that COULD cause real DAMAGE if used inadvertently.

I just don't get that. It's a light that is very visible and any tight turning results in bad noises

Why would they not put it on the overhead console with the other traction buttons?

I got a call from my wife one day. Her father owns a 2000 4Runner and her mother had pulled the transfer case shifter instead of the gear shifter. It is a manual. They then couldn't figure out why it was jerky when turning.

Toyota should have a mandatory IQ test before letting someone buy a Tacoma. Also, a lack of spatial awareness is a disqualifying factor.

A buddy of mine has a brother who has (had) a jeep and moved the transfer case lever instead of the shifter on the freeway. No more jeep
