    If it makes you feel better I did way worse to my truck less than a year ago. I did $2k in damages mostly to the fender and front bumper when I caught the corner of the neighbors Garage in the back alley. I felt so stupid and angry with myself. All it takes is a second or two of distraction and boom.

    Just paint it. To make you feel better my wife has hit the same fire hydrant twice. Second time she ripped the front bumper cover right off the car. This was the crown jewel for her in her long quest of hitting inanimate objects. After 30 years I can only laugh now.
