So I went out to dinner last night with my wife and I usually park my truck at a distance so I can avoid idiots opening their car doors and denting up my truck but when I have the wife she hates that I make her walk so I usually bite the bullet and park wherever. I walk out of the restaurant and this F-150 is parked really close to me, whatever, right? Walk out to my truck this morning and I have a huge scratch on my driver side door! It's about 3-4" in length and its a pretty deep scratch. So friggin pissed! STUPID ****! Wish I knew who it was so I can sock'em in his right eye! Friggin douche noggle!

Sorry, no photos, I'm on my cell phone posting this. I'm gonna drive out to my local Toyota dealership to see if they anything.

I HATE IDIOTS WHO DON'T RESPECT OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTIES!
    STUPID ****!

Ouch, at 1st I thought you where calling your wife the stupid **** for not wanting to walk. I park far away too, but my wife understands. She doesn't mind the walk unless its raining, then I'll drop her off infront. That really sucks though, I really hate assholes who just don't give a shit about peoples property. If I have to park near other cars, I park next to expensive ones. Figuring they might give a shit since the car cost so much. Probably not, probably worse. Just a theory.

Drop the wife off at the door and then do your parking.

I'm the same way about parking. When we walk back to the truck I usually open the door for the GF making her think I do it for her. I do it so I can check for scratches on the passenger side. I do a full walk around my truck. I went crazy on a car once that had hit my GF's new Camaro in a parking lot.

Mostly stock for now, I have added a cb radio, various cheap mods and I plan on adding aftermarket wheels and other items in the future.
Damn Man that sucks! I also try to do the same thing and park far away.

I,d take it to an auto body shop, they will have the right tools to take care of the job. They should have a good buffer and some scratch remover. If they can't remove it, it's going to need to be repainted.

    Exactly. A little common sense.

Honestly, some of these guys are a little limited in the problem solving dept. It doesn't have to be either or.

...and go out to get the truck and drive up and giver her door to door when leaving.

    Win-win

I just got rid of the wife, and kept the truck, now I can park where I want to.:) (badump-bump)

Seriously, I do park out where NO ONE parks,,out in the tulies. But yeah, drop the wife off and park the truck where you think is best. doesent always negate not getting a idiot dent/scratch, but it cuts your chances.

Damn I thought I was the only one who did these practices! Way to go guys it pays. 10 years-no dings. Of course my running boards help a lot unless another higher truck parks near me. If you don't already have them get runners or sliders and ALWAYS park out further because it's typically the "lazy" type personality who will do damage to your truck because with laziness there is carelessness right behind!

Yeah, wifes just gonna have to walk from now on! I have some nerf bars but idiot next to me had his F-150 lifted so I had no chance. Spent $25.00 at my local Schucks for some scratch repair stuff so I'm hoping it works if not I'll have to check out a paint shop, Dang! Off subject, somebody changed my title. I originally titled it, "Stupid *-*-*-*." (Didn't want them to put **** so I put hifens.) Oh well, I didn't know it was censored. HAA!

    Well ... I hope you're dent/ding/scratch works out.

I am a "walker" as well .... my wife usually has no problem with this.

Off subject ...... ya, you had to cleaned it up .... a little off-color ..... just my opinion.
